Penfolds Max's Shiraz 750ml

Named in honour of the man who created Grange, this new release from Penfolds is contemporary, youthful and exuberant, a more approachable style. The plummy and spicy Shiraz fruits dominate followed by rich & chocolate and mocha flavours throughout. Integrated oak and softened tannins allow for current drinking.

Aromas: Exotic aromatic spices are lifted and enticing, complementing the bright fruit notes of red berries and ripe plums. There are notes of fresh cream and wild strawberries with a hint of cocoa powder.

Palate: The soft and fresh palate showcases the bright red fruit characters of South Australian Shiraz. Fresh plums, ripe cherries, and hints of pomegranate. There is a creamy richness to the palate with textural soft tannins providing a supportive frame for this generous wine.
