Bruichladdich Micro Provenance Single Cask #3636 is an exclusive limited-release Islay single malt crafted as part of the distillery’s renowned Micro Provenance series — an ongoing exploration into how barley variety, cask type, vintage and Islay’s maritime climate shape whisky maturation. Distilled on 14 October 2011 using Oxbridge barley and matured in a first-fill Vin Doux Naturel wine cask, this rare expression was bottled at a powerful natural cask strength of 56% ABV on 23 May 2024, with only 264 bottles produced worldwide.

Rich, vibrant and beautifully complex, the palate delivers layers of citrus, stone fruits, vanilla and honeyed malt balanced by Bruichladdich’s signature coastal freshness and elegant oak spice. The sweet wine cask influence adds silky pastry notes and subtle dried fruit richness without overpowering the distillery’s refined unpeated spirit character.
