The Glen Scotia Festival Edition 2024 9 Year Old Unpeated Fino Sherry Finish is a limited annual release created to celebrate the Campbeltown Malts Festival. It’s a non-peated single malt matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in Fino sherry casks, giving it a distinctive dry, coastal sherry character rather than the heavier sweetness of Oloroso styles.

On the palate, it typically shows bright lemon citrus, green apple, white orchard fruit and malt sweetness, layered with almond nuttiness, subtle salinity and light oak spice. The Fino influence brings a crisp, dry edge and a slightly briny, coastal freshness that is very characteristic of Glen Scotia’s Campbeltown style. The finish is long, clean and gently drying with lingering citrus and maritime notes.

Bottled at cask strength (56.2% ABV) and non-chill filtered, this release is aimed at whisky enthusiasts who enjoy vibrant, coastal single malts with a sherry-cask twist rather than heavy sweetness.
