Maturing in cask since December 1978, The Glenrothes 40 Year Old began life in copper stills that retired soon after. The current still house continues to produce The Glenrothes spirit to the same exacting standards; but this particular whisky will never exist again. For forty years, the spirit has been quietly resting, nurturing and evolving to finally take its rightful place as part of this remarkable whisky. Only 594 bottles have been created. Only one bottle available.
