Highland Park Heather Cask Strength is a limited-edition release that showcases the distillery's signature Orkney character at its most intense. Crafted using 100% Orkney peat-smoked barley and matured in a combination of first-fill European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks along with select refill casks, this powerful expression highlights the aromatic heather-rich peat that has become synonymous with Highland Park. Bottled at natural cask strength without chill filtration or added colouring, it delivers an authentic and uncompromising whisky experience.

Rich, oily and remarkably complex on the palate, it opens with notes of bonfire smoke, vanilla pods and brandy butter before revealing layers of marshmallow, macadamia nuts, peppery spice and fragrant floral smoke. The influence of Orkney's heathered peat creates a distinctive aromatic smokiness that balances beautifully with the sweetness imparted by the sherry casks. The finish is long, warming and elegant, with lingering vanilla sweetness and perfumed smoke.

Whisky enthusiasts have praised the release for its unique heather-driven smoke profile, rich texture and bold character, particularly when a few drops of water are added to unlock additional layers of flavour.
