Highland Park Spirit of the Bear is a travel retail exclusive single malt inspired by the strength, resilience and independence that Viking culture associated with the bear. Produced on Scotland's Orkney Islands, this no-age-statement expression is matured primarily in American oak sherry-seasoned casks, creating a whisky that balances Highland Park's signature heather-honey sweetness with aromatic peat smoke and warming spice. It was introduced in 2018 as part of the distillery's acclaimed travel retail animal series.

Rich and approachable on the palate, it delivers notes of honey, vanilla, orange peel and dried fruit layered with gentle peat smoke, nutmeg, ginger and oak spice. The influence of Orkney's distinctive heather-rich peat provides a fragrant smokiness rather than an intensely medicinal style, while the sherry casks contribute sweetness and depth. The finish is smooth and warming with lingering vanilla, aromatic smoke and subtle spice.
