Jim Beam 7 Years Old Distillers Series is the final release in the Distillers Series, which celebrates the rich history of the Jim Beam distillery. Released in 2008, this limited-edition bourbon pays homage to seventh-generation Master Distiller Fred Noe. Frederick ‘Fred’ Booker Noe III was born in Bardstown in 1957. After graduating college in 1983, Fred began working at his family’s distillery. In the early 1990s, he played an important role in developing Jim Beam’s Small Batch Bourbon Collection, and in 2007 he was named Master Distiller. With his enthusiasm, dedication and expertise, Fred Noe keeps the flame of over 200 years of family legacy burning.
