The 100% Islay 10th Edition was distilled from Kilchoman's 2007, 2009 and 2010 Optic & Publican barley harvests before being matured in thirty nine bourbon barrels and two oloroso sherry butts for a minimum of nine years. Peated to around 20ppm, the resulting whisky marries the intense vanilla and butterscotch influence of the bourbon soaked barrels with the natural citrus sweetness and peat smoke of Kilchoman - with an added hint of body and dark fruit from the sherry butts. 12,400 bottles are available worldwide.
