Hot off Winning WWA’s 2020 World's Best Grain Whisky for their Single Grain 30 Years Old Small Batch. Kirin Fuji Single Grain has received keen interest from Japanese whisky community. The consensus being that Kirin's Master Distiller, Jota Tanaka, has certainly lived up to the hype with this release.

Nose: Creme caramel, stewed apple with cinnamon, dried bananas, nutmeg, smooth creamy oak, spearmint, shellfish.

Palate: Baking spices, pepper and sea salt. Brown sugar, stewed apples, dried bananas and creme caramel. With water there is a Bourbon-esque kick of orange, licorice, and rye spice.

Finish: Icing sugar, nutmeg, brown sugar and licorice. Luscious, the palate complex for a grain whisky with decent balance.
