Laphroaig The 1815 Cask Legacy Edition is a distinctive Islay single malt Scotch whisky created to honour the generations of whisky makers who have shaped Laphroaig since the distillery's founding in 1815. Initially matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, the whisky receives additional maturation in large new European oak hogsheads, giving it extra depth, richness and oak character. It is a limited Global Travel Retail release bottled at 48% ABV.

The nose combines Laphroaig's signature peat smoke and coastal character with burnt apricot, raisins and rich oak. On the palate, broad, soft oak meets caramelised dark fruits, dried fruit and warming spice, while the long finish develops layers of nuts, peat and oiled wood. A complex and richly flavoured expression for fans of heavily peated Islay whisky.
