Morris Classic Liqueur Tokay, now known as Topaque, is one of Australia’s most iconic fortified wine styles, crafted in the renowned Rutherglen region of Victoria by the historic Morris family. Made from Muscadelle grapes and matured in oak barrels, this award-winning fortified wine showcases the exceptional depth and richness that have made Rutherglen Topaque internationally celebrated. With an average age of around 8–10 years, the Classic range balances youthful freshness with layers of mature complexity and luxurious sweetness.

The palate is luscious, smooth and beautifully concentrated, delivering flavours of toffee, honey, dried raisins, marmalade and cold tea characters with hints of treacle and preserved fig. Its silky mouthfeel and lingering finish make it perfect as an after-dinner indulgence, paired with desserts, blue cheese or enjoyed lightly chilled on its own. Critics have praised the wine for its elegance and remarkable value, with James Halliday’s Wine Companion awarding it outstanding scores for its balance, freshness and depth of flavour.
