NED Vault Barrelhouse Whisky represents the pinnacle of NED Australian Whisky’s craftsmanship — a collection of premium, limited-edition releases drawn from the distillery’s most exceptional casks. Carefully matured and closely monitored within the barrelhouse, only a select few barrels ever qualify for the coveted “Vault Series.” Often referred to as “unicorn barrels,” these standout casks are chosen for their remarkable depth, balance, and individuality.

Each release is typically a single-barrel expression, meaning every bottling comes from one unique cask. The result is a whisky with its own distinct personality, offering collectors and enthusiasts a rare and highly limited experience.

A standout example is the NED Vault Single Barrel 21C-137 — a high-strength expression aged in American oak barrels under Victoria’s dynamic climate conditions. This natural environment accelerates maturation, intensifying the whisky’s character and complexity. Expect bold layers of vanilla, caramel, spice, and toasted oak, culminating in a rich, powerful finish.

Unlike standard releases, Vault whiskies are presented straight from the cask, showcasing the whisky in its purest form — unfiltered, uncompromised, and full of character.
