Plantation Original Dark Rum is a rich, double-aged Caribbean rum crafted by Maison Ferrand, blending elegant Barbados rum with a smaller proportion of high-ester Jamaican pot still rum. The rum is first matured in heavily charred American oak barrels in the Caribbean before undergoing a second maturation in French oak casks in Cognac, France. This unique double-ageing process creates exceptional depth, complexity and balance, making it a favourite for both sipping and classic rum cocktails.

Full-bodied and smooth on the palate, it opens with notes of burnt brown sugar, vanilla and caramel before revealing layers of dried fruit, banana, toasted coconut and baking spices. Hints of cinnamon, clove and subtle Jamaican funk add complexity, while the finish is long and warming with lingering crème brûlée, oak and spice. Equally enjoyable neat or in cocktails such as a Dark 'n' Stormy, Mai Tai or Rum Old Fashioned, it is a versatile dark rum with outstanding character.
