SANTIS Dreifaltigkeit Malt is the bold, smoky expression in the Säntis Swiss Alpine whisky range, crafted for lovers of peat-driven character with depth and intensity. Produced by Brauerei Locher in the Appenzell Alps, this distinctive single malt is made using peated barley and matured in old beer casks, a signature Säntis technique that sets it apart from traditional Scotch styles.

Bottled at a powerful 52% ABV, Dreifaltigkeit delivers a robust yet refined whisky that balances smoke, malt sweetness and alpine freshness.

Tasting Notes

👃 Nose: Assertive peat smoke intertwined with malted barley, smoked herbs and subtle earthy notes. Hints of honey, vanilla and gentle citrus emerge beneath the smoke.

🥃 Palate: Full-bodied and intense, showcasing smoky peat, toasted malt and dark bread notes. Underlying sweetness of caramel and honey balances the smoke, while peppery spice builds with warmth.

🔥 Finish: Long, warming and smoky, with lingering peat, dry spice and a clean, slightly herbal alpine freshness.
