The highpoint in Macallan's Double Cask series is matured for 30 years in sherry seasoned American and European oak casks. It is a release that showcases the distillery's unwavering commitment to barrel selection as oak influence is considered the single greatest contributor to the quality, natural colour and distinctive aroma and flavour of their malt. Expect decadent notes of honeycomb, sweet toffee, red apple, fig and vanilla pod and a smooth melody of cinnamon, ginger, Madagascan vanilla, dried fruits and oak on the palate.
